Nataliia lives in a community located in an area of active hostilities. Her garden house is her only property and is at high risk of damage or destruction. The absence of records in the State Register of Rights to Immovable Property and Encumbrances made it impossible to confirm her ownership and, consequently, to access compensation in the event of housing loss.
To ensure the legal protection of Nataliia’s rights, a comprehensive registration procedure was organised:
As a result of the coordinated legal assistance, ownership of the garden house was successfully registered in the State Register of Rights to Immovable Property , and Nataliia received confirmation of her ownership in the form of registration data/an official extract. This outcome was critically important, as it enabled Nataliia to legally protect her only property and ensured access to compensation mechanisms in the event of damage or destruction of the house due to hostilities.
This case demonstrates the transition from legal counselling to tangible results: even in challenging security conditions and with limited access to services, structured legal support made it possible to secure ownership rights in time and reduce risks for the property owner.
